Mr. Kamis also noted that while Aviance Ghana’s longevity underscores its commitment to quality service, safety, and operational efficiency, strategic plans are underway to ensure continued growth and meet demands.
“Surviving 30 years in such a competitive industry is a testament to our resilience and the high standards we maintain. This achievement is a testament to our dedicated over 1000 employees, strong management team, and our ability to work seamlessly with airlines. I am confident Aviance will withstand market competition and continue as Ghana’s trusted ground-handling company for another 30 years.
“Ground handling is a volatile industry, and agility is key. We have built a reputation for reliability and adaptability, ensuring we meet the needs of our airline partners,” he said.
Looking ahead
Looking ahead, he said Aviance is embracing technological advancements such as artificial intelligence (AI) to enhance efficiency.
It also aims at expanding its operations and maintaining its commitment to excellence.
“We are going from strength to strength…We are moving towards more AI-driven solutions. For example, where we used to rely on manual minute-taking during meetings, AI tools now streamline these processes, allowing us to focus on strategic decisions,” he noted expressing optimism about the company’s potential to remain a leader in Ghana’s ground handling industry.
Aviance Ghana’s operational footprint extends to key airports, including Kumasi and Tamale.
“Kumasi and Tamale are strategic parts of our growth plan. Our work there has been successful, and we are continually building on that,” Mr. Kamis said.
