MTN encourage players in the oil and gas industry to take advantage of y’ello Biz

MTN Ghana, has encouraged players in the oil and gas industry, to take advantage of the y’ello Biz product, to enhance their businesses.

The MTN y’ello Biz, is a robust suite of business solutions, designed to drive operational excellence and business growth.



Ms. Angela Mensah-Poku, Chief Enterprise Business Officer of MTN explained that “this product, is tailored for enterprises of all sizes, has the best in connectivity and digital tools that helps in operations, enhance visibility and drive growth”.

She said this, in an address read for her, by Godwin Adzimah, Acting Senior Manager for Enterprise Business Division of MTN, at the 2024 Local Content Conference and Exhibition held in Takoradi.

The three-day conference has the theme “Attracting Exploration and Production Investments to Boost Local Content-New Pathways”.

Ms. Mensah-Poku continued that “as a major player in Ghana’s telecommunications industry, we are encouraged that our participation underscores commitment to local content development. We are committed to highlighting our company’s efforts to support local businesses and contribution to the national economy”.

She further explained that “our involvement last year at the conference, gave us great experience, provided us a platform to connect with key stakeholders in the oil and gas industry, including government officials, industry experts, and other businesses. This led to valuable partnerships and collaborations”.

She said MTN Ghana, is committed to fostering local content and innovation. “The discussions and ideas shared here will undoubtedly propel us towards a more inclusive and sustainable future”.
“Let us continue to collaborate, innovate, and support local talents and businesses. Together, we can build a stronger, more resilient economy”.

Egbert Faibille, Chief Executive of Petroleum Commission expressed gratitude to MTN for hosting the Executive Connect session.

He said, there are so many opportunities in the Oil and Gas sector and called for partnership.

“There are a lot of things that are going to happen next year, we expect you to position yourselves to go for bidding the commission will support every local company that is ready to support the industry to grow”, he told the Oil and Gas service companies.
