The De Heus Ghana team has hosted the official launch of its highly anticipated Pig Concentrate 30% in Accra and Kumasi.

The two events, held at the Golden Bean Hotel in Kumasi on August 27th and the African Regent Hotel in Accra on August 29th, mark the start of an exciting journey to support Ghana’s pig farming industry with cutting-edge nutrition solutions.

This launch aligns with De Heus Ghana’s long-term vision to develop a sustainable and professional pig farming supply chain, including critical partnerships with abattoirs, and most importantly, creating reliable market linkages for farmers to sell their pigs.

The launch attracted a diverse group of stakeholders, including pig farmers, industry experts, agribusiness partners, and media representatives.

With the dual aim of introducing the innovative Pig Concentrate and strengthening relationships within the farming community, the events were a resounding success. Attendees were treated to insightful presentations, live demonstrations, and engaging discussions on the future of pig farming in Ghana.

Speaking at the event, Hugo Visscher, General Manager of De Heus Ghana, expressed the company’s dedication to empowering farmers.

“Our mission is to ensure that Ghanaian pig farmers have access to the best nutritional solutions, and the Pig Concentrate 30% Feed is a testament to our commitment. This product not only promises enhanced productivity but also ensures healthier livestock and sustainable growth in the sector,” he said.

The Pig Concentrate 30% Feed, specially formulated with high-quality nutrients, is designed to meet the specific needs of pigs at various growth stages.

Farmers in attendance were particularly excited about the feed’s potential to improve feed efficiency, increase meat yield, and ensure overall farm profitability.

The live demonstrations provided a first-hand look at how the feed works, with experts guiding attendees through its application and benefits.

The Kumasi and Accra events were an ideal platform for networking, fostering deeper collaborations, and exchange of extremely useful information. Farmers had the opportunity to share their experiences and challenges with the De Heus team, sparking meaningful dialogue on ways to innovate and improve farming practices.

Dorcas Asubonteng, a key distributor in the Ashanti region and Brong Ahafo, shared a few words of encouragement with dealers and farmers.

She emphasised the importance of the De Heus brand and its products, encouraging farmers to trust in the quality of the solutions being offered to enhance their productivity. “The future of pig farming in Ghana is bright, and De Heus is proud to be part of that journey,” she told.

The event in Accra also saw great participation, with attendees expressing enthusiasm for the new product and its potential to revolutionize pig farming in Ghana.

The launch was not just about introducing a new product; it was a reaffirmation of De Heus Ghana’s commitment to farmers and the entire agricultural value chain. The company is still dedicated to supporting farmers by providing the best nutritional solutions for their success.

As De Heus Ghana looks to the future, the company continues to uphold its promise to drive growth in the agricultural sector by offering premium feed products, investing in research and development, and empowering farmers through education and ongoing support.
