Dynamic Data Solutions LTD (dds55), an IT services and consulting solutions provider, has received accreditation as a cybersecurity establishment, from the Cyber Security Authority (CSA).
The CSA awarded the certificate at a brief ceremony held in Accra, where the Authority issued licenses and accreditations to 18 Cybersecurity Service Providers (CSPs); 7 Cybersecurity Establishments (CEs); and 69 Cybersecurity Professionals (CPs) who have successfully completed the application process and met the requirements to operate in the country.
In an interview with the B&FT on the side-lines of the event, Eric H. Mensah, Security Operations Centre Analyst at dds55 expressed delight at the achievement, noting that the certification will boost clients’ confidence in the firm and its services.
“We have achieved accreditation as a cybersecurity establishment, which means that with our certificate, we can serve a wide range of organizations, including financial institutions, health providers, and government agencies—essentially covering almost every industry in Ghana.
This certification includes what we call SOPs, which are documentation that proves we have the engineers and expertise required to deliver high-quality services.
Currently, we serve numerous clients. Without accreditation, our services might not be fully validated. This certification will not only assure our existing clients of the top-notch quality of our services but also build confidence among prospective clients we seek to onboard,” he said.
In her remarks at the event, Chief Business Relations and Compliance Officer-dds55, Christel Derban also noted that the achievement is testament to the company’s commitment to excellence and quality.
“Dynamic Data Solutions LTD is truly honoured to receive this accreditation, and we are happy that our commitment to excellence and quality has been recognised,” she expressed.
Delivering the welcome address on behalf of Dr. Albert Antwi-Boasiako, Director-General, CSA at the presentation ceremony, Head of Computer Emergency Response Team at CSA, Stephen Cudjoe-Seshie reiterated the Authority’s commitment to regulate and sanitize the industry.
“In accordance with the mandate of the CSA in Sections 3, 4(k), 49, 57, and 59 of the Cybersecurity Act, 2020 (Act 1038), the CSA has a duty to regulate cybersecurity activities within the country, which includes the licensing of cybersecurity service providers (CSPs) and the accreditation of cybersecurity establishments (CEs) and cybersecurity professionals (CPs).
