Fido has launched an improved opt-out option for marketing communications. This option enhances customer privacy and provides greater control over the information they receive. This initiative reflects Fido’s ongoing commitment to respecting customer preferences and ensuring a transparent communication process.

Since 2014, Fido has provided credit access to consumers through the Fido App available on both the Google Play Store and App store (iOS). With these features, customers can now easily manage their communication preferences by opting out of SMS marketing communications by dialing the shortcode *998*13#.

This step forward aligns with Fido’s customer-first approach, ensuring that communication is both relevant and welcomed, in addition to the unsubscribe option available in all marking email messages

  1. Promotional Materials: Offers, discounts, and special campaigns.

While Fido enhances privacy options for marketing communications, essential notifications, such as Payment Reminders and Transactional Messages (including reminders about payments or the submission of missing documents), will continue to be part of the service to ensure customers remain informed about their account activities.
