CBG unveils new laboratory at Larteh

Last week, Consolidated Bank Ghana (CBG) opened a state-of-the-art laboratory at the Larteh Health Center in the Eastern Region, demonstrating Bank’s commitment to Corporate Social Responsibility, with a particular focus on community development, health, and education.

Managing Director of CBG, Daniel Wilson Addo, was accompanied by the Deputy Managing Director of Corporate Resources, Nana Ama Poku, along with Divisional Directors Esi Mmirba Wilson (People & Transformation), Gerald Quartey (Credit), and Patrick Boadi (Internal Audit).

Prior to the official unveiling of the facility, the delegation paid a courtesy call to Osabarima Nana Asiedu Okoo Ababio III, the Benkumhene of the Akuapim Traditional Area, where they received a warm welcome from the Chief and the people of Larteh.



The inauguration ceremony, which was graced by the Chief and his council as well the Deputy Director of Nursing and Midwifery Services for Akuapim North, Madam Regina Akweley Klutse, marked the formal handover of the laboratory to the Larteh community.

On behalf of the community, Osabarima Nana Asiedu Okoo Ababio III, along with his sub-chiefs and queenmothers, graciously accepted the new facility.

The Chief expressed heartfelt gratitude for the much-needed laboratory, highlighting the community’s long-standing need for such an initiative.

He commended CBG for its meaningful contribution and encouraged the Bank to continue its support for similar projects in the future.
