The grand finale of the 2024 National Investment Quiz (NIQ) competition is poised to commence, following a series of successful regional contests among Senior High School ( SHS) students.
The national finals promises to be a thrilling conclusion to this year’s competition, celebrating students’ achievements and highlighting the importance of financial education and investment knowledge for the future leaders of Ghana.
NIQ competition is an inspiring initiative spearheaded by the Young Investors Network (YIN) and supported by the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) and Central Securities Depository.
Since it’s inception in 2014, the contest has been a beacon of financial literacy and investment knowledge. It has impacted over 50,000 students to date and has also paved the way for numerous participants to secure positions in esteemed local and international firms.
At the finals of the 2024 edition of the NIQ competition, a total of 40 schools will compete, aiming to claim the coveted title and demonstrate their mastery of investment principles and financial literacy.
The recent regional winners comprising St. Mary’s Boys, Brekum SHS, St. Augustine’s College and Wesley Grammar School along with the other top-performing schools, would compete for the championship title at the University of Ghana Business School.
This year’s regional contests, held across seven regions, showcased the talent and enthusiasm of Ghana’s SHS students.
Young Investors Network in collaboration with the Ghana Stock Exchange and Central Securities Depository, remains committed to fostering a culture of financial literacy among Ghanaian youth.
