Rev. Erskine’s voice is unmistakable. It is the sound of a generation, a voice that has become synonymous with wit, charm, and a deep passion for music.

As the host of YFM’s Mid Morning Radio Show (MMRS), Rev. Erskine has become a household name, entertaining and inspiring thousands of young Ghanaians every day.

“I’m humbled by the opportunity to do what I love every day,” Rev Erskine says. “Radio has always been my passion, and I’m grateful to have been able to turn that passion into a career.”

But Rev Erskine’s journey to radio royalty was not always easy. Growing up in Kumasi, he was fascinated by the world of radio, spending hours listening to his favourite shows and dreaming of the day he could be behind the mic.

That day finally came, and Rev Erskine has not looked back since. “I’ve always loved radio,” he says. “There’s something about the power of the human voice, the ability to connect with people and make them laugh or cry. It’s a privilege to be able to do what I do.”

But Rev Erskine’s talents does not stop there. He is also a skilled MC, known for his high-energy performances and ability to get crowds on their feet.

Whether he is hosting a concert or a corporate event, Rev Erskine brings his signature style and enthusiasm to the stage.

As it turns out, Rev Erskine is also a shrewd political commentator. Recently, he took to X formerly Twitter to ask a question with this scenario. “My boss & I won a contract! We represented the job and led it! 8 years down the lane, Job doesn’t look like it was promised on the contract.

I’m back to the contract warders to say the last job that hasn’t even ended was all my boss’s plan, and if they award me the contract all over again, I’ll do something they’ve never seen before! In fact, I’ll over impress them!! WHO AM I?”

It is a clever riddle and one that has sparked a lot of conversation online, with many saying the riddle is about Ghana’s Vice President Mahamadu Bawumia who is seeking to be elected as President of Ghana, despite serving almost eight years as Vice President in the New Patriotic Party led government.

Rev. Erskine’s ability to use humour and satire to comment on politics has earned him a lot of fans, and he’s becoming known as one of the most incisive and entertaining political commentators in Ghana

As the newly appointed Deputy Programmes Manager of YFM, Rev Erskine is poised to take his talents to the next level. He’s excited to oversee the programming and content of the station, leveraging his extensive experience in radio broadcasting and management to strengthen YFM’s position as the leading urban youth music station in Ghana.

“I’m excited to take on this new challenge,” Rev Erskine says. “I believe in the power of radio to shape culture, to inspire and educate. I want to use my platform to make a difference, to leave a lasting legacy.” With his infectious enthusiasm and dedication to his craft, Rev Erskine is sure to continue making waves in the world of radio for years to come.
