Director for Associates for Change and the Olinga Foundation for Human Development, Dr. Leslie Casely- Hayford has been crowned the Most Outstanding Female in Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)’ at the 10th Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards (FGAA) 2024, held in Accra.
She is a highly respected personality advocating for best business practices in the sector for decades.
The prestigious award signifies her stunning leadership qualities and exceptional dedication to providing quality education, research, and social development services.
The Feminine Ghana Achievement Awards organised by The Business Executive Magazine Limited seeks to publicly recognize women in Ghana who have achieved outstanding accomplishments in various forms of endeavor across both the public and private sectors, such as entrepreneurs, professionals, corporate executives, public institutional managers, diplomats, sportswomen, traditional rulers, and others.
The award automatically elevates her to the status of a “She Achiever” which is the topmost connective female network platform in Ghana. The initiative is an executive association which embodies top female CEO’s and past FGAA winners and creates a platform on which members can more easily reach out for assistance in a required field without incurring cost.
It also stands for Women Empowerment and projects the voices of women on important social matters.
Speaking to the media after receiving the all-important honour, Dr. Leslie Casely-Hayford expressed her profound gratitude to God for all the guidance, her staff at both Associates for Change and the Olinga Foundation for Human Development, as well as her family and the Bahá’í Community of Ghana for their unwavering support.
She stated that the award reflects her commitment to delivering the highest standards of quality social development and sets a benchmark for other organisations to follow.
“I really appreciate this recognition. I will continue to work hard to support our communities, children, institutions and marginalised populations in the best possible ways to achieve higher degrees of social development and prosperity,” she said.
Associates for Change (AfC) is a Ghanaian registered research and consulting firm specialised in conducting quantitative and qualitative research research in Ghana and other African countries for governments, development partners and civil society.
AfC offers services to a wide range of national and international partners with tremendous experience in evaluation and socio-economic analysis on poverty, education, gender equality, child rights/ protection, health, governance and agriculture.
The Olinga Foundation for Human Development has been developing a scalable model of literacy, teacher training intervention at primary school level in collaboration with the Ghana Education Service (GES) to ensure foundation learning is achieved in Ghana.
They work in over 200 schools in eight districts in three regions (Western, Eastern and Greater Accra) across the country delivering teacher training and book supplies to schools and reading clubs.
