All roads lead to the Oak Hill Park in Barnet, London – United Kingdom (UK), on Saturday, July 13, 2024 when Ghana’s international marketing communications company, Akwaaba UK, hosts this year’s edition of the biggest outdoor family fun event, Ghana Party in the Park (GPITP).
Dennis Tawiah, Chief Executive Officer of Akwaaba UK has confirmed that some top rated Ghanaian and UK based musicians are billed to perform at this year’s festival.
They include multiple award winning artistes Wendy Shay, King Paluta, KiDi, Lasmid, Tulenkey, OlivetheBoy and others. The sensational Ghanaian dance group, Dance With Purpose (DWP) will also be performing.
Mr. Tawiah further stated that “in addition to showcasing the rich Ghanaian culture and providing an opportunity for Ghanaian creatives to exhibit their craft and talents, Ghana Party in the Park has become an important platform for the promotion of Ghana as the most preferred business and tourist destination across the continent. The festival attracts an audience of over 10,000 patrons from across the UK, Europe, United States of America and Caribbean yearly, Ghana Party in the Park is a cultural event for members of the African community. Highlights of the events include musical performances, live music, food, cultural dancers, masquerade and others.
Akwaaba UK has been at the forefront of hosting premier events across Europe and Ghana. The company is currently in partnership with the Government of Ghana through the Ministry of Tourism, Arts and Culture to execute ‘Destination Ghana’, which seeks to direct investment into the country.
