The Youth Activist Charity, Young Professionals and Youth Coalition (YPYC), has unveiled the list of distinguished individuals and corporate entities to be honoured with prestigious awards at the 15th Transform Summit.

This esteemed event is scheduled for July 6, 2024, at the Great Hall of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST) in Kumasi.

The 15th Transform Summit will take place under the auspices of His Majesty the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.

The summit’s theme, “15 years of transformational leadership,” will feature an impressive lineup of speakers, including former Presidents John Agyekum Kufuor and John Mahama, Vice-Chancellor of KNUST Prof. Akosua Dickson, and Mr. Sam Jonah of Jonah Capital.

Dr. Andy Osei Okrah, the founder of YPYC and host of the conference, announced the upcoming event to the media in Accra. He highlighted an innovation for this year’s summit: the invitation of fifteen previous award winners to interact with budding entrepreneurs and young leaders.

“They will serve as conduits, indeed conveyor belts transmitting knowledge, expertise, and hands-on experience to boost productivity,” Dr. Okrah emphasized.

Mr. Okrah also described the 2024 summit, as a business agenda-setting forum where academia and industry’s finest will converge to generate ideas propelling Ghana to the next level of economic growth.

He underscored the credentials of the conference speakers, promising cutting-edge insights from industry leaders with proven records of accomplishment in managing blue-chip companies.

The 2024 award winners, chosen through a competitive voting process by YPYC’s discerning patrons, represent a broad spectrum of society, including industry, media, business, public service, forestry, academia, and politics.

In his statement, Dr. Okrah commended the media partners and sponsors whose combined annual support has expanded the frontiers of youth development and growth.
