Twellium Industrial Company Limited, the mother company of Verna Purified Water has donated products and cash to a nuclear family of eighteen-year-old autistic twins in Tema Community 7.
The items including five packs of Verna Purified Water, ten boxes of breakfast cereal biscuits, and ten packs of cookies were handed over to Ms. Diana Ayivor, the widowed mother of the twins, Edwin Atta Dennis and Marvin Atta Dennis.
Receiving the items, Ms. Ayivor expressed profound gratitude for the support, noting that as a widowed mother of four, including the autistic twins, the donation came as an unexpected but welcome relief.
The assistance provided will significantly help alleviate some of the financial and logistical challenges she faces daily while solely caring for her family and running a provision shop to make ends meet.
The family has faced significant challenges over the past three years since the death of their patriarch but despite their hardships, they have shown remarkable resilience and determination.
Commenting on the gesture, Kojo Bonsu, the Verna Brands Manager, emphasised the company’s commitment to sharing love and supporting the community.
This particular donation, he said is an extension of the company’s existing efforts, demonstrating their dedication to making a tangible difference in the lives of those in their community.
He explained that supporting families in need, particularly those with autistic children, is a core value for Twellium Industrial Company Limited, hence, the donation to the Ayivor family is part of a broader initiative.
Mr. Bonsu highlighted that by providing cash and essential products, Twellium aims to alleviate some of the burdens these families face.
He also pointed out that every purchase of Verna products contributes to these charitable efforts as a portion of the proceeds from sales is directed towards supporting autistic children and their families.
