Regulus Investment and Financial Services Ghana Limited, in partnership with the Ghana Stock Exchange (GSE) and Ghana Fixed Income Market (GFIM), has hosted a workshop that brought together fund managers and trustees to discuss crucial aspects of portfolio management and the fixed-income market.

The workshop served as a platform to delve into crucial aspects of portfolio management strategies, insights into the end-of-day closing pricing methodology of the Ghana Fixed Income Market (GFIM), and the intricate workings of sell/buybacks within the secondary bond market.

It also proved to be a resounding success, providing attendees with valuable insights and strategies to navigate the intricacies of portfolio management and the fixed-income market.



The event featured a lineup of distinguished speakers who shared their expertise and insights on various facets of financial management.

The Chief Executive Officer of Regulus Investment and Financial Services Ghana Limited, Shivani Makhija, brought her visionary leadership to the forefront, setting the tone for the workshop’s success.

Augustine Simon, Head of GFIM, graced the workshop with his presence, lending his insights and expertise to the discussions.

Among the key speakers was Kofi Pianim, Head of Global Markets at First National Bank, who spoke on Sell Buy Back, explaining the complexities of this critical component of financial transactions.

Mr. Prince Oppong, Head of Trading Team, First National Bank, provided insights into the Simulation of sell buybacks, offering attendees a practical understanding of this crucial aspect of the market.

Afua Osei, Vice President of the Fund Management Department, GCB Capital, shared her expertise in portfolio management, offering attendees valuable strategies and approaches to optimize their portfolios for maximum returns.

Representing the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), Francis Boadu, provided regulatory perspectives crucial for navigating the financial landscape.

Additionally, Kofi Pianim, Treasurer of First National Bank, contributed his wealth of experience to the discussions, enriching the discourse with practical insights.
