Directors of Manya Krobo Rural Bank PLC at Odumase in the Manya Krobo Municipality in the Eastern Region has reiterated the Bank’s commitment to ensure the best and most convenient banking to customers at all times.
According to the Chairman of the Board of Directors, Patrick Amanor Buckor, banking is now a very competitive business and Manya Krobo Rural Bank is extremely mindful of its banking services to customers.
The Bank according to management is always looking for opportunities to serve their customers better and so they will spare no effort to ensure that customers get the best of banking service in this highly competitive banking environment.
Mr Amanor Buckor gave these assurances at the official opening of the new Madina branch office to relocate the already existing atomic branch and a mobilization centre at Madina.
According to him, the relocation and merging the three centres is aimed at bringing convenient banking to the Madina market women who are their prioritized customers as well as petty traders in the various adjoining communities within the Madina enclave.
The opening of the new Madina branch forms part of the Bank’s contribution to the financial inclusion agenda of the country and the actualization of the vision of the founding members to grow the bank and improve stakeholders’ values.
The Bank has made a strategic choice to increase its market share in the industry, enhance its effectiveness and improve its operations in the country. This new branch offers accessibility, safety and functionality for both the bamk’s staff and customers.
The Board Chairman reiterated the bank’s commitment to providing top-notch products and services that would support the advancement of Micro, Small and Medium-sized Business Enterprises in the Madina municipality and its surrounding areas.
“We fully understand the importance of these businesses in driving economic growth and development, and we are poised to play our part by offering reliable and effective financial solutions”, he stressed.
The new Madina branch office which is a two-storey building has a roomier banking hall, spacious car park and enough office space for personnel to transact business in confidence as well as a conference hall for official meetings.
The Board Chairman has assured customers of delightful customer service saying that they will spare no effort to ensure that customers are happy doing business with the bank.
The Managing Director of the ARB Apex Bank, Alex Kwasi Awuah in his keynote address applauded the effort of the Board and Management for the impressive operational performance over the years.
Mr Awuah mentioned that rural banking has evolved into an enviable institution which has given financial hope to many people in the rural and urban communities. This according to him has come about due to the hard work of rural and community banks of which Manya Krobo Rural Bank is an elite member.
He advised the board and management that to continue in the march to progressively satisfy their customers and realize their objective, there is the need to pay extra attention to staff training, compliance and customer care.
Mr Awuah further advised the staff at the Madina branch to show tenacity of purpose and discipline and also remember at all times that banking is done in a dignified environment and always doing the needful to ensure security of customers and staff is adequate at all times.
The Executive Director of Association of Rural Banks, Ghana, Mrs Comfort Owusu in a brief remark emphasized the importance of exemplary customer service, urging the bank’s staff to warmly welcome and assist all calibre of customers, noting that customer satisfaction fosters loyalty and facilitates organic growth through referrals.
She commended the expansion of banking services into local communities, highlighting the convenience and security it affords individuals by preventing the need to transport large sums of money to distant locations for deposits or savings.
The Manya Krobo Rural Bank Plc is a community based financial institution which provides financial services in the Manya and Yilo Krobo Municipalities of the Eastern Region and Ga East/Adentan, Ashaiman Municipalities and Kpone-Katamanso District in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.
