Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans Ltd. has presented a cheque for GH₵70,000 towards the ‘Heal Komfo Anokye Project.
The donation took place when the company’s board of directors, management and some staff paid a courtesy call on the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II at Manhyia Palace, Kumasi.
The gesture is part of activities toward the 30th anniversary celebration of Sinapi Aba.
Chief Executive Officer (CEO), Sinapi Aba Savings and Loans, Tony Fosu, presenting the cheque on behalf of the company, congratulated the Asantehene on the achievement of his 25th anniversary celebration since he was enstooled as leader of Asanteman.
Mr. Fosu praised the Asantehene for creating an enabling environment for businesses within Asanteman to thrive.
He also took the opportunity to inform the Asantehene of the 30th anniversary of Sinapi Aba and briefed him on some activities lined up to mark this milestone.
For his part, the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II, acknowledged the role institutions like Sinapi Aba play in ensuring individuals and micro, small and medium businesses thrive.
He was particularly pleased that Sinapi Aba has weathered every storm to achieve 30 years, urging the leadership of the company to continue with the good work, in order to achieve greater heights.
Board Chairman and Board Member for Sinapi Aba, Kwasi Atta Antwi and Dorothy Danso, respectively, also took turns to thank the traditional leader for his unwavering support and encouragement all these years.
During the interaction, the delegation formally invited the Asantehene to the climax of the 30 years anniversary of Sinapi Aba later in this year.
The company’s 30th anniversary was launched earlier this month at a resplendent ceremony at it head office in Nhyiaeso, Kumasi.
The celebration which is on the theme, ’30 Years of Transforming Lives: Celebrating Sinapi Aba’s Impact’, encapsulates the essence of the company’s existence and its remarkable achievements.
Sinapi Aba currently has 44 branches and operates in every district of the country, reaching over 600,000 clients.
