The Chartered Institute of Administrators and Management Consultants-Ghana has officially opened its doors to the 2024 Professional Year.
The gathering, graced by distinguished members of the board, students, marked the beginning of a year dedicated to the theme “Development Administration: The Instrument for Achieving Sustainable Growth.”
Addressing the audience, the Board Chair of the Institute, Ehunabobrim Prah Agyensaim VI commenced the proceedings by expressing gratitude for the unwavering commitment demonstrated by attendees in upholding the Institute’s annual tradition.
Reflecting on the challenges of the past year, he commended the resilience of the Institute in maintaining its focus and achieving growth despite adversities.
“The theme for the year 2024, ‘Development Administration: The Instrument for Achieving Sustainable Growth,’ underscores our commitment to driving progressive political, economic, and socio-cultural goals,” remarked the Board Chair. Emphasizing the role of Development Administration in effecting change and growth, he highlighted its significance in planning economic growth, mobilizing resources, and fostering earnings.
The Board Chair reiterated the professional identity of the Institute’s members, emphasizing their role in administration, business management, consultancy, and strategic solutions. He underscored the importance of professional certification in maintaining standards of knowledge and performance, as well as adherence to a code of ethics.
“As professionals, we are the beacon of hope amidst challenges,” declared the Board Chair, urging members to embrace difficulties as opportunities for growth. He stressed the collective responsibility of members to contribute to societal progress and economic resilience, urging unity and collaboration to navigate turbulent times.
Highlighting the Institute’s pivotal role in shaping organizational strategies and contributing to national economic revival, the Board Chair called upon members to harness their diverse abilities for the greater good. He emphasized the importance of maintaining discipline, expertise, and public trust in fulfilling the Institute’s mission.
