Minister of Finance Ken Ofori-Atta has visited the La General Hospital’s construction site in Accra.
The facility was pulled down in 2019 due to the poor state of its infrastructure, with actual construction work now commencing on a new modern hospital facility.
During the visit, Mr. Ofori-Atta was taken on a tour of the project site by representatives of Poly Chanda, the contractor working on the project.
The minister’s visit was to ascertain progress of work and impress on the contractor to prioritise quality and timely completion of the project.
