SulNOx Eco, an advanced fuel conditioner has been introduced to boost the engine efficiency of vehicles while lessening the burden of everyday operators by reducing fuel consumption in addition to cutting down emissions.
The Chief Executive Officer of SulNOx Group PLC, Ben Richardson, said the product provides a two-fold solution by cutting down the running costs of vehicles while significantly reducing greenhouse gas emissions.
Designed for both petrol and diesel engines, he observed that SulNOx Eco is a cutting-edge solution that aligns with the global focus on ensuring good climate health.
Mr. Richardson who was speaking at the official opening of the maiden whole and retail outlet of SuINOx, at Haatso in Accra, noted that it is a common occurrence to encounter vehicles producing large quantities of smoke in a daily drive in and outside the capital city.
This development, he said does not only impact the health of commuters including children but also leads to air pollution which is harmful to the environment.
To this end, he acknowledged that the use of this modern product which is affordable to all pockets can help bring down emissions by 50 percent, in addition to cutting fuel consumption down by 10 percent.
He remarked, “We are obviously here to also change the industrial landscape. We’ve got some wonderful results in the haulage sector, with companies like KTL and others already using the product across their large fleet. And what they are saying is more power and less vibrations for the drivers.”
The product, he said can also be used for generators, both at home, in hospitals, and at industrial levels since it improves the reliability and performance of engines as well as fuel economy.
The Head of Authentication and Innovations at Nationwide Technologies Limited (NTL), Dr. Andrew Boye, said there has been positive feedback from the use of the products from vehicle owners and users.
He cited, for instance, that with the recent issues of fuel contamination in the country, those who have used SulNOx as part of the remedy to the damage done to their engine have had some good responses to give about the product.
“So far, anyone who has presented problems such as jerking and instances where the vehicles behave erratically, it has really helped. We believe it is s gamechanger,” he stated.
He said one of the key components of the product is that it releases more oxygen into the engine for combustion to take place effectively.
He also cautioned vehicle owners and operators to be mindful that just because the cars do not emit a lot of smoke does not mean it is not polluting. The only way to ensure vehicles are not polluting is to test the vehicles.
Against this background, he lauded the readiness of the Driver Vehicle and Licensing Authority (DVLA) to embark on a campaign to enforce the country’s vehicle emission limits.
Dr. Boye entreated vehicle operators and owners to make efforts to ensure that the products they apply to their vehicles are genuine and come from credible manufacturers, producers, or distributors.
