About the 2023 National Farmers’ Day celebration
The theme for this year’s Farmers’ Day celebration is ‘Delivering Smart Solutions for Sustainable Food Security and Resilience’.
The year’s celebration will as usual be preceded by a five-day National Agricultural Festival (Agrifest) and other activities to be held on principal streets of the Ministerial enclave in Accra, from Monday 27th November to Friday 1st December 2023.
The last day of Agrifest, which marks the first Friday of December, will be celebrated with an awards night ceremony at the University of Mines and Technology (UMaT) – where President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo will confer national honours on best-performing farmers and fishers.
