The management of the Business and Financial Times (B&FT) has paid a courtesy visit to Fidelity Bank Ghana. The purpose of the meeting was to explore opportunities for collaboration and to strengthen the existing partnership between the two indigenous corporate brands.
During the meeting, both parties engaged in discussions on fostering corporate synergy and exchanged valuable insights and strategies, all aimed at cultivating a strong and mutually beneficial partnership. The conversation focused on shared commitments to innovation, excellence and the pursuit of common goals.
The delegation was led by B&FT’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Dr. Godwin Acquaye, who underlined the dedication of both B&FT and Fidelity Bank to these principles.
“We thank the brand for the years of support, partnership and help that we have received even in difficult times,” he said, while pointing to the recently organised Ghana Economic Forum (GEF) as an example of the bank’s support.
The CEO of Fidelity Bank, Julian Kingsley Opuni, on his part welcomed the renewed cooperation and emphasised the bank’s strategic approach to engaging in public initiatives driven by their culture of excellence.
He added that the two institutions are a clear example of Ghanaian resilience and excellence, and thus collaboration between Fidelity and B&FT will provide avenues for long-term growth and development – especially in areas of sustainability and new ways of doing business.
“We want to create thought-leadership opportunities in conjunction with the B&FT around the area of sustainability and youth enterprise development. I believe these are avenues to sustain growth and development of the Ghanaian economy,” he said.
The B&FT team included Dr. Daniel Anim, Director of Operations; Rhoda Mensah-Ankrah, Head, People and Culture; Francis Dadzie Botchway, Finance Manager; and Ekow Paynin-Atkins, Head of Events. They were welcomed by members of the Fidelity Bank management team, including Director of Marketing, Esi Mills Robertson; Divisional Director, Corporate and Institutional Banking, Kwabena Boateng; Director Strategy and Performance, John Glover; and Manager, Business Strategy and Planning, Michael Evans-Totoe.
