Oswal Investments Group, one of the fastest-growing Ghanaian civil engineering and construction companies, has been adjudged ‘Innovative Construction Champion of the Year’ at the just-ended Ghana Construction Industry Excellence Awards (GCIEA), 2022/23.
GCIEA is the single-largest gathering of construction industry players – designed to honour hardworking and distinguished industry players, both individuals and organisations.
The prestigious award was in recognition of the efficiency with which Oswal Investments undertakes construction projects, and an acknowledgement of the profound impact made by group on the country’s construction industry as a whole.
The Ghana Chamber of Construction Industry (GhCCI), the parent association responsible for organisations eligible for the glamorous construction industry awards, saluted the outstanding achievements of winners in various categories – especially Oswal Investments Group for its role in shaping the future of construction and unwavering commitment to excellence and innovation, which has set them apart as champions in the industry.
In the citation signed by Chairman-GhCCI, Emmanuel Nene Martey, the visionary leadership of Humphrey Awuletey-Williams, the Group Chairman, was lauded by the chamber for inspiring countless professionals and organisations to embrace progressive methodologies; demonstrating that innovation is not just an aspiration but a driving force that can transform the environment.
It expressed that the dedication of Mr. Awuletey-Williams toward sustainability, safety and excellence is a testament to his exceptional personality and the firm’s contributions to the industry.
On his part, the Oswal Investments Group chairman expressed profound gratitude to the chamber for the outstanding honour that sets them apart from others.

The ceremony also offered ab opportunity to create a platform for acquiring knowledge on the introduction of new and modern trends in Technological methods, current equipment and products for efficiency, performance and business engagements, among others.
The Group has been honoured with numerous awards due to the strides they are making in the construction industry. In 2021, Oswal Investments Group was also awarded as the ‘Best Innovative Construction Company of the Year’ by the Construction Chamber of Ghana.
Group Chairperson adjudged Africa’s Most Respected Construction Sector CEO
Earlier this year, Mr. Awuletey-Williams was adjudged the ‘Africa’s Most Respected Chief Executive Officer’ (CEO) in the Road Construction Industry category at Africa’s Most Respected CEO Awards in Mauritius.
The honour was in recognition of his remarkable track-record set by long-term service in good corporate governance and contribution to enhancing the fortunes of many people through human interest initiatives in his country and the African continent at large.
This continental recognition of the Group’s CEO is a confirmation of the Group’s significant contribution to national development and the transformative mindset of leadership.
