Karpowership has renovated and handed over the school block of Rhnner Paul Anglican School at Essikado, a suburb in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis.
“We have refurbished classrooms, replaced windows, and constructed essential facilities – all with the aim of enhancing the educational experience for our students; but this will mean nothing if our teachers and students are not committed to the teaching and learning process,” Ms. Sandra Amarquaye, Communications Manager of Karpowership Ghana.
She said: “As we hand over this beautifully renovated school to the dedicated management, we also hand over the responsibility to the teachers to continue nurturing the minds that will shape our future”.
“Dear staff and teachers, your leadership, passion and dedication are instrumental in ensuring that the potential of each student is unlocked, and that they are prepared to face the challenges and opportunities that lie ahead,” she added.
She implored the students to take their education seriously and respect and adhere to directions and counsel from your teachers.
“Together, let us continue to empower young minds; for it is through them that we shall power the future. I pray our renewed commitment to education becomes a source of inspiration for generations to come,” she urged them.
Madam Bernice Belinda Akortia, a representative of the Metro Director of Education, said education is key to national development; therefore, the need for proper structure to help learners acquire the needful skills to become good leaders is in the right direction.
She thanked all for the role they have played in supporting the renovation of the school.
Madam Ferguson Laing, Regional Manager of Anglican Schools, Western and Western North Regions, thanked the management and staff of Kapowership for renovating the school.
She urged the school and the traditional authority in the catchment area to take good of the facility.
