“We depend on government for support, which is not sufficient, so your donation is timely. We are appealing to philanthropists and other institutions to also assist us – especially in feeding our students,” he said.

Dennis Amofa-Adarkwa, Area Manager-ASA Savings and Loans Limited, said institutions such as the school for the Deaf and Blind and other Special Schools in the country need support from all so pupils are able to stay in school and learn.

“This is also our Social Investment Intervention, since they are within our catchment area; and we will continue to support government in providing quality education in the country,” he said

Prince Amoah, Branch Manager, added that “our support is to give better care to the students who need special assistance”.

He urged management of the school to use the items for their intended purpose.
