To mark the International Women’s Day celebration, Policy Initiative for Economic Development (PIED) Africa will in line with its ‘The Africa We Want’ series champion conversations on “Empowering Women to Drive the Future of Africa”.
Slated for today, Wednesday, March 8, 2023, at 2 pm on Twitter (https://twitter.com/i/spaces/1OdJrzyNQmXJX ), the discussion seeks to analyse Africa’s progress on women’s empowerment and the astute speakers from across various African countries will proffer the way forward.
More importantly, the Africa We Want series is an innovative platform created to discuss and make pragmatic recommendations toward Agenda 2063.
Agenda 2063 is Africa’s blueprint and master plan for transforming Africa into the global powerhouse of the future.
It is the continent’s strategic framework that aims to deliver on its goal for inclusive and sustainable development and is a concrete manifestation of the pan-African drive for unity, self-determination, freedom, progress, and collective prosperity pursued under Pan-Africanism and African Renaissance.
