The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) has been ranked as the 9th best university in Ghana out of 89 Universities ranked in Ghana based on Excellence Rankings by The Ranking Web of Universities Webometrics (https://www.webometrics.info/en/africa/ghana).
Even though only 89 universities made the shortlist, there are several hundred institutions in Ghana including 111 Private Tertiary Institutions Offering HND/Degree Programmes, 10 Chartered Private Tertiary Institution, 15 Public Universities, and 68 Public Nurses Training Colleges, to name a few (https://www.webometrics.info/en/africa/ghana).
The Ghana Communication Technology University (GCTU) is a forward-looking public University that offers undergraduate (Diploma and Degree) and Postgraduate (Masters and Ph.D.) programmes in Telecommunication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering. Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mobile Computing, Information Technology, Information Systems, Business Administration, – Procurement, Logistics and Supply Chain, Marketing, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Oil and Gas, among others.
The Vice-Chancellor of the University has noted that the Management of the University will keep working hard to keep improving these rankings even as he declared 2023, the year of superior student experiences.
