Italian Embassy sponsors Agrihouse Foundation to EIMA 2022

The Italian Trade Agency, under the auspices of the Italian Embassy in Ghana, has sponsored the Executive Director of Agrihouse Foundation, Alberta Nana Akyaa Akosa to attend Italy’s foremost agric exhibition event, the International Exhibition of Machinery for Agriculture and Gardening (EIMA), taking place in Bologna, Italy.

In a release issued in Accra by the leading agric organization in Ghana, Agrihouse Foundation has expressed profound appreciation to the Italian Trade Agency for the opportunity to be part of the (5) day international event. “This gesture has come as a much needed opportunity that allows us to be exposed to the very best of available agricultural machinery, at a time when Ghana is in dire need of efficient and affordable mechanization equipment for it’s agricultural sector,” Ms. Akosa was quoted as saying in appreciation of the Italian Government’s gesture.

“Especially, being a development facilitation organization, this opportunity offers us a rare chance to meet face-to-face with the manufacturers and the distributors of some of the best agric machineries in the world,” the Executive Director of Agrihouse added. Among other interventional projects, Agrihouse Foundation is the organizer of the biggest market linkage agricultural events in Ghana, the Annual Pre-Harvest Conference and Exhibition.



The Italian Trade Agency, on their part, expressed their pleasure in offering such enlightening opportunities to Ghanaian organizations and individuals playing key roles in the development of the country’s agriculture sector.

Tagged “EIMA 2022,” the event is described as the largest exhibition dedicated to the agricultural mechanization sector. Scheduled to run from the 9th to 13 November, the International Exhibition of Machinery for Agriculture and Gardening taking place in the city of Bologna, is famed for its strong attraction to visitors, farmers and agribusiness entrepreneurs, as well as exhibitors, from all over the world.

EIMA, taking place on a 375,000 square meter space, is on its  forty-fifth edition and is known to have consistently attracted about two thousand exhibitors annually.

According to the organizers, the five days of the exhibition is expected to host 14 different product sectors, including machinery for primary processing and product preservation. “Since its first edition, the EIMA international trade fair has been characterized by the innovative nature of the solutions presented during the event.”

The International Exhibition dedicated to agriculture will also host conferences and seminars.
