2022 Ginger Conference promises more excitement/youth empowerment

The much-anticipated 2022 Ginger Youth Conference has been launched, with the event slated for the 20th August, 2022 in Accra at the Tang Palace Hotel.

This year’s edition, dubbed: ‘Clutch the Future’ is expected to gather renowned speakers/industrial players to impact their wealth of knowledge and experience to participants. Notable among them include: Arc. Samuel M. Quartey, President of the Ghana Institute of Architects (GIA); Ama Pratt, General Manager, Pan African Television; Executive Director, ObaasimaSummit; and Multiple Award-winning Social Advocate and Founder of the Africa Ubora Foundation, Nafisa Ama Quainoo.

This conference was birthed in 2008 by Apostle Samuel Bempong to empower the youth and prepare them for the future. It has since 2008, been organised in and around Tema with different themes and styles, gathering over 150 participants at each event. More than 30 percent of the patrons are engaged after the conference and assisted with job placements, coaching, school re-entry and others.



The 2022 conference seeks to bring together the youth, tertiary students and individuals between 19 years and 45 years.

President and Founder of the conference, Apostle Samuel Bempong, in an interview with the media was optimistic this year’s event brings on board lots of opportunities and livelihood empowerment to participants.

“The need to recognise and understand the trends and successes in all aspects of life has become a necessity in the modern-day world; as such this year’s edition promises nothing less than great opportunities participants can relate and make something meaningful out of it.”

About the president 

Apostle Bempong is the Founder and Head Pastor of The Christheart Chapel and the Samuel Bempong International Ministries & THoCC Intercessory Ministry in Tema. He is the author of the popular book ‘Know Your Why’- a book approved and used by GES for high schools. Prior to his call into ministry, he worked as a Chef and a Cashier at Frankie’s Restaurant, and was a Sales & Marketing Rep for local and international publishers. He studied Information studies at University of Ghana, and Marketing at the Accra Business School.
