It’s an all-star line-up for the 2022 Music, Magic and Comedy Live (MMC Live) as the 5th edition of Ghana’s only trilogy showpiece on the entertainment calendar comes off today, July 30, 2022. MMC LIVE is the only show that creates a unique platform for musicians, magicians and comedians to showcase their talents on one stage in one night.
Ghana’s reigning Artiste of the Year, KiDi; and evergreen smooth singer Adina will take up the music side of things giving the audience danceable tunes to matchup the energy inside the Grand Arena Dome, Accra International Conference Centre.
From the comedy corner will be one of Nigeria’s biggest comedians – Kenny Blaq with comedian Clemento Suarez steering the affairs for the night doubling as the host and a performer. South African top magician Regardt Laubscher will also perform some never-seen magic on stage.
After a two-year break due to COVID-19 restrictions on public events, MMC Live is making a strong return this year. Tickets are running for GH¢100 Single and GH¢150 Double. “The break gave us an opportunity to refresh our ideas for the return of MMC which without a doubt is one of the most exciting shows on the Ghanaian entertainment calendar,” said Emma Wenani, Chief Director at Global Media Alliance, organizers of the event.

Kojo Manuel and MzOrstin will warm up crowd
Ghana’s number one hypeman Kojo Manuel and finest female DJ MzOrstin – both of YFM, will turn up the stage on the night. Kojo Manuel, Host of YFM’s Dryve of Ur Lyf and MzOrstin, DJ for YFM Weekend Rush, are expected to open the show and warm up audience for what will be one of the exciting nights in the history of Ghanaian entertainment. With the combination of the two, patrons of the show should expect nothing short of spectacular on the MMC Live stage.
…new talents to wow audience
Other talents performing on the night are comedian Parrot Mouth, budding musician Abetimi and rapper Kweku Wina, Winner of YFM Rapture II, intend to make a big statement with energetic talent.
MMC LIVE is an annual event organized by leading event company, Global Media Alliance. The event initially took flight in June 2016 and has grown to become one of the most successful entertainment shows in Ghana.
Over the years, the show has witnessed performances from talents such as Samini, King Promise, DKB, Sarkodie, Wendy Shay, Foster Romanus, Kofi Kinaata, OB Amponsah, Nigerian comedian Acapella, Episode, Jacinta with magical concerts from Ghanaian magician Voncujovi and Larry Soffer, a magician and mentalist from South Africa.
