Sunu Assurances Ghana Limited has responded to an appeal made by the Students Representative Council (SRC) of Takoradi Technical University (TTU). The items are an air-conditioner, a printer, swivel chair and a desk which value over GH¢10,000.
Kingsley Agyeman, Takoradi Manager of Sunu Assurances Ghana Limited, said the gesture forms part of its corporate responsibility initiative.
“We believe if we support the SRC we can have a vibrant student leadership which can champion the course of students.”
Dr. Eric Bruce Amartey Jnr, Dean of the Students Affairs of TTU, expressed gratitude to management of Sunu Assurances for responding to their call.
He said: “We believe this presentation will forge a stronger, closer collaboration between the school and its students”.
Prof. Victor Mickah, Pro Vice Chancellor of TTU, thanked Sunu Assurances for its assistance.
“I deal directly with the Dean of students, and once we get to hear such complaints as such lacking amenities in the offices it’s a bother to us; and so we are grateful for this gesture.”
