Sights and sounds from Memphis in May International Festival

Statistics from the Ghana Education Service indicate that so far 1.6 million youth have benefitted from the Free SHS policy.

Ghana, this year, was the main focus of the just ended Memphis in May International Festival celebration in the United States of America (USA), where the world was made to experience the rich cultural heritage.

The programme, each year “aims to bring the world to Memphis and Memphis to the world”, according to organisers of the event.

Typically taking place during the second week of May, the International Salute features special performances, exhibits, lectures, shows and experiences which are unique to the honoured country.



B&FT Weekend brings you some of the scenes from the event which prominently featured the participation of the Asantehene, Otumfuo Osei Tutu II.
