Ecobank Ghana has held its third and final draw of the Ecobank double salary promotion series in Tema, rewarding more than 240 customers in all the draws.
The three-month promo which is aimed at rewarding the bank’s existing and new customers for their loyalty saw 86 winners for the first draw in February, another 78 emerging for the second draw in March, and 82 lucky winners also for the third draw this month, which was held under the strict supervision of officials from the National Lottery Authority (NLA).
Speaking at the final draw in Tema, the Executive Director of Ecobank Ghana, Dr Edward Nartey Botchway, said the journey of doubling the salary of customers commenced in January 2022, and about 164 people have had their paycheques double in the first and second draw.
He said: “It is great for us to reward our loyal customers, and we are happy that we have been able to do that today”.
“At Ecobank, we have your interest at heart. This promotion might be ending today, but you really would want to get a salary account with Ecobank because the benefits are quite immense. Beyond that, if you look at the data for 2021 of the banks in Ghana, Ecobank has the biggest deposits and loan books.
“This speaks to the point that most customers have confidence in Ecobank to want to save their funds with us. And the fact that we give more loans than any other bank in this country tells you that whatever your needs might be, Ecobank is the best place to be,” Dr Botchway said.
In terms of impact, he indicated that they had a lot of customers signed on to the account being offered, customers got their dormant account activated, as well as new customers also signed on. He said the benefits of that account is enormous.
He noted that from now to the end of the year, customers should expect a lot more from the bank.
Nana Yaa Gyapong, Head, Consumer Marketing, said the promo is a way of saying thank you to their loyal customers.
She enumerated some of the benefits which come with the Ecobank salary account such as a free life insurance cover of up to GH¢10, 000, free debit card insurance, 24/7 access to cash and e-banking services, internet and mobile banking services.
