Inna Mariam Patty honoured for bringing meaning to beauty & pageantry

Inna Mariam Patty, CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana – organisers of the Miss Ghana pageant, was honoured by the Class Media Group (owners of Accra FM & Class FM) in Accra.

This was in recognition of her outstanding leadership role, hard work and continuous selfless contributions to the beauty pageant industry in Ghana over the last decade.

At a brief ceremony, Inna was presented with a citation of honour after her thought-provoking interview on Accra FM’s ‘Nkran Kwanso with Docta Kay’.

The citation reads: “Inna Mariam Patty…Your resilience is admirable, defying the odds to bring ‘meaning to beauty’. Ensuring that Ghana’s presence is registered on such a competitive world stage. This impact on your footprint in the industry will forever remain a legacy”.

The Miss Ghana ‘Queen’ is recognised as a female achiever who impacts the lives of many young women and men in the Ghanaian society.

*Inna dedicated the award to her team at Exclusive Events, her family, cherished partners, the media, all well-wishers and the entire Miss Ghana fraternity.*

Crowned Miss Ghana in 2004, she has since risen along the ranks to become the pageant’s president. Currently, she is the CEO of Exclusive Events Ghana – the organiser of the pageant.

In 2016, Inna Patty also made it to the list of WomanRising’s 100 Most Outstanding Women Entrepreneurs in Ghana.

Under Inna Patty’s management, Exclusive Events Ghana Limited (EEGL) was nominated to receive the International Arch of Europe Award in the Gold Category in 2017. EEGL was selected to join this global quest for excellence and become a prime example of a quality-driven organisation.

In 2019, she was listed among 2019 top leaders who were shaping their communities, industries and continent as a whole by the online magazine – Humble Beginning Entrepreneurs’ (HBE) Award.

She founded the Miss Ghana Foundation, the charity wing of the pageant with the sole purpose of ensuring the sustenance of social intervention projects that the Miss Ghana contestants, the eventual ‘Queens’ and their two runner-ups embark on during their reigns. She uses her Miss Ghana organisation to positively touch a lot of lives.

“Many ask, ‘why do you keep doing what you do … most people would have given up…?’ The answer is simple; maybe this is my calling! Maybe like many fairy tales with Princesses; I’m a ‘Fairy- Godmother’ and ‘a destiny helper’. We help to make miracles happen,” Inna once said.

The latest recognition comes as no surprise to many who follow her works.
