A Ghanaian Certified Grants Management Specialist, Benjamin Kofi Quansah, has been approved by the Certification Council Nominating Committee (CCNC) to serve on the National Grants Management Association (NGMA) Certification Council.
The Certification Council is a division of NGMA, formed to independently govern, oversee, and manage the Certified Grants Management Specialist (CGMS) certification programme.
The Certification Council is solely responsible for all essential certification programme decisions related to the core aspects of a certification programme, including decisions related to eligibility standards; standards for initial certification and maintaining certification; the development, administration and score of examination; and the selection of subject-matter experts.
The National Grants Management Association (NGMA), headquartered in Sterling, Virginia, USA, is recognised throughout the grants management community as the membership association leader providing tools and resources for grant professionals to support and maintain high levels of grants management competency and to establish standards of excellence for grants managers.
NGMA provides comprehensive full life-cycle grants management training, professional certification, continuing professional education, tools and resources, and a forum for networking with grants industry professionals.
