Charterhouse, in collaboration with Joy FM, is set to organise the 4th edition of the National Women’s Summit to commemorate International Women’s Day as it is a day set aside to celebrate women’s achievements and raise awareness about women’s equality.
The event comes off on March 8 at the Grand Arena of the Accra International Conference Centre at 9 am under the global campaign theme #breakthebias and #youdeservealifeofgoodness.
The Global theme of #breakthebias is a clarion call to society at large to break biases and stop gender stereotyping women while the sub-theme #youdeservealifeofgoodness is a call for women to aspire for a life of goodness in their daily pursuits, by paying attention to their wellbeing because they need to be well in body, mind, and spirit to be able to fully take a seat at the table.
The summit will have an eclectic mix of females across diverse generations and professions who will discuss what break the bias is and as well share in their personal experiences of bias, how they were able to surmount their challenges to achieve their personal dreams and successes, and most importantly share their thought on how society can make a conscious effort to break the bias against females.
The summit will also have a second wellness session tagged the #youdeservealifeofgoodness, presented by Frytol and other wellness professionals who would discuss healthy eating, physical and mental health, and its importance to living a life of goodness.
The 4thNational Women’s Summit will be aired live on Joy FM from 10 am to 12noon as well as other social media platforms such as Facebook @frytolghana and YouTube @charterhouselive. The event is sponsored by Frytol and supported by She Leads.
