The leadership of the Ghana Cocoa Coffee and Shea nut Farmers Association (COCOSHE) have paid a working visit to the management of the Cocoa Processing Company Limited (CPC) at Tema.
The National President of COCOSHE, Alhaji Alhassan Bukari said that the visit was aimed at interacting with officials of the facility to learn more about their operations and also offer some suggestions to help the management in its quest to transform the company.
“We are to interact with the workers and management of the CPC and also offer some support to help the company expand”.
Alhaji Bukari extolled the Management for the various steps taken in recent times to put the facility in good shape to serve the nation best.
Briefing the 17-member delegation on the operations of the company, the Managing Director of CPC, Nana Agyening Boateng lauded cocoa farmers in the country for their continuous supply of cocoa beans to support their operations.
He appealed to farmers to protect every single cocoa tree by resisting any enticement to release their farms for illegal mining.
