FanMilk PLC, under the Danone Group, has awarded 39 current employees and former staff of the company with various exciting items at the ‘End of Year Camaraderie Night’ over the weekend.
The awards event formed part of FanMilk’s efforts to celebrate and energise the achievements of the team and departments over the past twelve months.
The various recognized employees were rewarded with electronic appliances such as fridges, television sets, gas cookers, undisclosed amount of cash and citations.
Most of the employees rewarded are those who have served the company between 10 to 30 years across the supply chain, manufacturing, quality and sales departments.
The Managing Director of Fan Milk Plc, Yeo Ziobeieton, presenting the awards at the event remarked that over the past six decades of the company’s existence in the country, workers welfare and development have been key to management and various initiative were embarked upon to ensure satisfaction of staff with the awards exercise being one of such activities.
“For a company with a strong heritage with expertise in producing iconic brands, our people have been core to our existence. Today offers us an opportunity to recognize our distinguished & loyal employees who have continuously worked diligently to produce quality and refreshing products for over 6 decades,” he said.
The MD added that Fan Milk Plc will continue to harness and develop its talents to be innovative while building a stronger and more agile team devoted every day to enriching the lives of millions of Ghanaians by making tasty nutritious food available to all.
“In line with Danone’s One Planet, One Health vision, which reflects a strong belief that the health of people and the health of the planet are interconnected, we aim at inspiring healthy and more sustainable eating and drinking practices in West Africa,” he emphasised.
The End of Year and Long Service awards brought together management and employees who were entertained and energized for the coming year.
