More than 60 entrepreneurs and social media influencers are set to showcase their craft at the maiden edition of Kejefair in Accra.
According to the organisers, the event which will draw participants from various sectors including beauty, food, entertainment and fast-moving consumer goods (FMCGs), aims to use social media and influencers to promote Ghanaian brands and entrepreneurs.
Additionally, it will facilitate investment opportunities and provide a reliable networking platform for brands, customers, investors and other stakeholders.
Commenting on the fair, Wesley Kesse, the spokesperson for Kejefair said it was borne out of the successful commencement of social media activations for small-scale businesses using snapchat in partnership with social media influencers last year by Kejeyank Limited, a wholly-owned Ghanaian marketing communications company.
“We believe in online businesses right here in Ghana. Social media is a promising and powerful tool— an avenue for taking small businesses to the next level. Using our platform to contribute to the promotion of these innovative goods and services from small and medium Ghanaian ventures is a responsibility we believe our position as social media influencers demands.”
He added that the fair will include a seminar for vendors by resource persons in the areas of e-Commerce, banking, taxation, insurance and customer relations.
