December has always been buzzing over the years. The whole world literally comes to Ghana. From global celebrities, iconic personalities to family and friends, Ghana has become the world’s destination for Christmas and New Year celebrations making it the go-to epicentre for urban entertainment.
YFM, Ghana’s number one urban radio and leading music station has launched a new initiative “Y Holiday Havoc” to support key events and activities in curating unforgettable memories for revelers at this year’s festive season.
Through the Y Holiday Havoc, YFM has announced a number of partnerships with major festivals, concerts and parties where the radio station will support with marketing, promotions, ticket sales and On-Air Talents – Presenters and DJs to unlock memorable experiences of every activity during the festive season.
Osei Kuffour, Head of YFM Triangle commented: “Ghana is becoming the world’s preferred destination in December and this year we know that the Christmas celebration will be amazing in creating an experience. The Y Holiday Havoc partnership initiative provides a unique opportunity for all to connect to an urban audience during life enjoying moments. We are winning together through three key pillars – Partnership, Co-curation and Support.”
In setting the tone, thought leadership series have been lined-up for Twitter Spaces with stakeholders, organizers and musicians to share their thoughts on how this Christmas will be celebrated.
“We have created a mini blog on yfmghana.com to be hub for all relevant information in relation to all the Christmas shows and there will be loads of giveaways including event tickets and souvenirs for listeners of YFM during this period,” added Osei Kuffour
According to authorities, the country is expecting about 150,000 tourism arrivals between now and December mostly from America, Nigeria, UK, Germany, China, The Netherlands among others.
December is officially opened.
