As part of activities lined up to celebrate world cocoa day, TN Delfah Ghana Limited, a Ghanaian owned company that deals in cocoa products and beverages, offered an opportunity for students of the University of Ghana to sample one of their flagship, top quality products, the Golden Pod instant chocolate drink.
The Golden pod instant chocolate drink, according to many students who showed up to taste it, has the potential to become a huge force to reckon with in the beverage industry.
The world cocoa day, usually celebrated on October 1, seeks to acknowledge the work and effort of cocoa farmers around the world. It is also to educate consumers on the health benefits of cocoa and chocolate consumption.
In 2019, TN Delfah Ghana Limited zoomed in on producing cocoa products for consumption.
The company originally operated in the Travel and Tour industry, winning itself, the Tour operator of the year award for Tema region through the introduction of an innovative package dubbed ‘The Cocoa Learning Experience’.
The company pledged its commitment to making readily available, quality and healthy products to Ghanaians and the world at large.
Chairman of TN Delfah, Noah Amenyah, with 30years experience in the Ghanaian cocoa industry and the CEO, Tina Amenyah, developed the recipes for the golden pod instant chocolate drink (sweetened) as well as the golden pod natural unsweetened cocoa powder.
