Glint Africa, organisers of Ghana Tertiary Excellence Awards has honoured the Chief Executive Officer of Life DS Group of Companies, Samuel Dzidulali Danku at its 2021 awards ceremony held in Accra recently.
The award was in recognition of his immense contribution to education in the Ho West constituency and other parts of the country. Mr. Danku who is also the owner of Life Petroleum Tema and West FM in Ho helped many young people to complete their educational programmes at various levels of their courses from basic to tertiary. He also helped build infrastructure in some institutions in the Volta region.
Presenting the award, the Chief Executive Officer of Glint Africa, Destiny R. Bentil said the scheme was designed to recognize individuals and organizations who are contributing to the development of education in the country.
A citation presented to Mr. Danku reads in part “you readily support the provision of infrastructure in educational institutions and your companies offer ready internship opportunities to tertiary students.”
Receiving the award, Mr. Danku thanked the organizers of the honour done him and promised to do more to support education as the success story of his businesses to help many young people who are willing to learn and be mentored to produce quality human resource for the country.
The Queen Mother of Akrofu Traditional Area in the Ho Municipality Mamaga Akua Sabea Nyabor VII, who was a guest urged Mr. Danku to do more in the area of education since many young people are now venturing into negative adventures which has no future for the country.
