Chief Executive Officer and founder of City Spaces – a property development, brokerage and management company, Rasheeda Adams, has launched her maiden book on real estate titled ‘A Roof Over One’s Head’ to throw light on the value and profitability of the real estate industry.
An influencer and thought-leader in the media, she arrived in real estate seeking to make a difference and bring hope to many in the country
According to her, her main motivation for writing a book relating to the real estate sector is as a result of too many conspiracies surrounding the industry which need to be addressed.
She further states that her encounter with many clients who visit her office for advice on real estate also caused her to put all those answers in a book to make them available to everyone.
“For the mere fact a lot of us don’t have resources to go to the many real estate consultants before we finally gather something to start an investment, I thought that I should just put everything, all the information we need, in a book. I think this book basically covers almost all the salient points,” she said during the book’s launch in Accra.
Explaining further, she stated that the book also delves deeper into the state of housing – what the term ‘affordable housing’ really means, and argues that affordable housing is not affordable in the country.
Speaking about the way forward for the real estate industry, she stated that she remains committed to the sector and looks forward to making a change in the industry.
The Chief Executive Officer of Sync Consult Management Consultants, Mr. Bennet Kpentey, applauded her for the good work and efforts to transform the industry with such an educative book. He said the book will affect the decisions of policymakers and people engaged in the industry.
He appreciated her style of writing and described it as very direct and speaking volumes to the reader, adding that she has been bold enough to address some of the long-term issues in housing.
