Director of Vodafone Business, Tawa Bolarin in a short speech to lunch the product said “now more than ever, small businesses will get to experience real value whilst boosting their online presence, connecting their workforce, driving virtual collaboration and enhancing productivity during this pandemic.
Our Too Moorch Business offer is the latest initiative following the launch of our new brand positioning – ‘Together We Can’ – our unwavering belief that the partnership between technology and society can build a better future.”
She added that, over the years, Vodafone Ghana has positioned itself as the network provider that is firstly, interested in delivering initiatives that are positively shaping the outcomes of SMEs.
“We are also known for providing tailor-made solutions that are transforming and maximising the digital potential of businesses across the length and breadth of this country,” she said.
Adding that, “Our efforts have changed the stories of hundreds of thousands of businesses both large and small. These include Kojo Badu a basket weaver in Cantonments, who is now able to show his craft to the world by leveraging ‘My Business Online’. Our Red Trader product is also one of our many initiatives that are providing varied digital solutions for businesses such as E90 a mushroom exporting company in Adenta.”
She further noted that, the move would help in economic acceleration because SMEs account for a vast majority of companies in the country; they also represent the very fabric of the society; they contribute the greatest of percentages to economic growth.
“We therefore consider it our responsibility to find ways that these businesses can take advantage of in order to be successful.
The pandemic has shown us the power of flexible mobile solutions – and for SMEs, the evidence is very clear – it’s all about being MOBILE and utilising it to the best of their ability. For there’s no doubt about it; Technology is and will continue to be the single most important tool in harnessing the growth potential of SMEs” she said.
She added that: “As a caring organisation, we are also aware that keeping up with monthly expenses including telecommunications services, during this period has not been easy for SMEs.
We have therefore developed a unique product that will offer SMEs, Affordability and Flexibility. An innovative mobility product which is presently the industry’s No.1 in terms of value.”
