Ghanaian rapper and singer Kwame Nsia-Apau known in showbiz as Okyeame Kwame and his wife Annica Nsia-Apau have launched a book titled ‘Love Locked Down’. Love locked Down is a comprehensive guidebook about love, romance, relationships and family wellbeing.
According to Okyeame Kwame, ‘Love Locked Down’ is a book that does not only talk about romance but points out the attributes of love to broaden the understanding of how love can be truly demonstrated.
“It is a book not just about romantic love but about spiritual love, about social love, about intellectual love. When you read this book, you will find out that to be able to love someone you have to love yourself and get rid of your fear,” he noted.
He added that the book throws more light on love and relationship. He said some people normally misinterpret love and relationship therefore their understanding becomes challenging.
Speaking on what inspired them to write the book, Okyeame Kwame said his wife had the inspiration through messages received from her colleagues about whether the life portrayed by them on social media is really genuine.
Okyeame Kwame further stated that all the questions that kept coming to the wife, encouraged them to rather put their love experience together in book to help others benefit from it.
“To tell you the truth, my wife was the one who had the inspirations through questions that came from her friends whenever I post things about myself on social media and they ask whether it is real, and how can they also find real love,” he explained.
Okyeame Kwame said they commenced writing about four years ago and came into completion during the lockdown last year. He added that Mr. Kyei Amoako, a very close friend assisted them in putting the book together with his publishing experience.
Post book launch
Okyeame Kwame said a website has been developed called ‘lovelockeddown.com’ to help solve most relationships and love issues faced by couples. “We have developed a website called lovelockeddown.com and what we are doing is that, a clinical psychologist called Dr. Isaac Newman Arthur is available to reply every question that is being posted there. You can sometimes be reached through phone calls,” he reiterated.
He therefore urged his supporters to support the idea of helping solve difficulties in relationship by buying the book.
