The Rotary Club of Tema Meridian supported by the Rotary Club of Noble Park Dingley-Australia has donated sewing machines to People with Disability (PWD).

The handover took place at the Ashaiman Municipal Assembly and was attended by members of the Ghana Federation of Disability Organisations (GFD) (which is a national umbrella organisation of persons with disabilities in Ghana established in 1987), staff of the assembly, Rotarians and Rotaractors.

The MCE of Ashaiman Municipal Assembly, Albert Boakye Okyere, promised to ensure the machines are well catered for and assured the People With Disability of support by ensuring they get the needed sewing contracts to enable them obtain a sustained source of livelihood.
