A ‘business shower’ is probably one of the new terms you have heard in recent times. The word most likely borrowed from the concept of bridal shower and baby shower, has been used to describe the situation where a group of friends and well wishers gather to support a new business.

That was exactly what took place as Lumiѐre Creatif, a budding ghostwriting company, last week, held its business shower to outdoor its new premises and services to stakeholders and the general public.

The colorful and well-attended ceremony observed both staff, management, satisfied clients and other stakeholders well-dressed and in high spirits; a glamour that could pass for any red-carpet event. Gracing the launch, Rev John Ntim-Fordjour, the Member of Parliament for Assin South Constituency, pledged his unwavering backing for the company and instructed the millennial entrepreneurs to be more confident as they would take the world by storm with their excellent services.

The member of parliament commended the team for the initiative to assist pastors, professionals and other persons to translate their ideas and experiences into bestselling book.

“Be motivated to work harder. With much confidence and excellence of service and product delivery, you will attain the zenith. Just keep believing in what you are doing, because very soon, I am convinced Ghana and the world at large will be hearing of your business and its services.” This instructive and uplifting comments from the honorable member of parliament was well received by the team.

On his part, the CEO of SESIL Ventures, a car care consultancy and detailing service provider, Mr. Emmanuel Awumee; a client whose book, Against THE ODDS, published by Lumiѐre Creatif, was full of praise for the consistency and hard work of the team.

In referencing this masterpiece published by the company, Mr. Awumee remarked, “the book is making significant impact in both public and private institutions. All thanks to the neat and high class editing, cover design, typesetting and print works by Lumiѐre Creatif.

Another client, Bishop Frederick Asamoah, a bishop of the Victory Bible Church and senior Law Lecturer at the Central University College, said he owed the existence of his book, Life Dies, to the Lumiѐre Creatif team as he initially thought there was no way he could pen down his ideas or have his life experiences neatly brought together in a book.

“Everything in this book was in the form of audio messages that I had preached in church years ago. The book is so precious to me because though God had impressed on my heart to have those audios in a book, I did not know how to go about it. That was when I met the Lumiѐre Creatif team who inspired hope in me that my dream was not dead. Today, I look at this book with pride and fulfilment not only for capturing my life and my exact person in it but also for its beautiful design and excellent publishing. Great job done, Lumiѐre Creatif”

Dedicating the business centre of the company, the National Youth Director for Full Gospel Church International, Rev Horlali Kpor, who spoke on behalf of the President of Full Gospel Church, Rt Rev Samuel N. Mensah, himself a cherished client, led the gathering to thank God for the startup and to pray for expansion and for better years ahead.

Ghostwriter and Chief Executive Officer of the company, Samuel Agyeman-Prempeh, underscored the mission of the company in his delivery.

“We are of the knowledge that most individuals, in as much as they want to share their insights into books, may not have the time or skill-set for that. We assist such persons to translate their messages, ideas and presentations into bestselling books that can shape the next generation of leaders. Our assignment is to express and publish the experiences, expertise and journeys of such notable Ghanaians and Africans into masterpieces.”

The event was laced with stakeholders offering business nuggets and ideas to the leaders of the startup and wishing them the best for such a notable endeavor.
