Vanguard Assurance Company (VAC) has rewarded its sales agents who contributed to its financial performance for year 2020, and also used the opportunity to launch its 2021 sales League in Accra last week.
The Sales League is a programme designed to concurrently deepen collaboration and competition among sales agents in order to ensure as many Ghanaians as possible get access to insurance products that best suit their needs.
Mr. Frederick Saka, CEO-Vanguard Assurance, said as the first fully indigenously owned insurance company in the country, the company considers bringing the immense benefits of insurance to as many Ghanaians as possible its primary duty.
“In order to fulfil this duty, Vanguard Assurance believes its sales agents must excel at helping people to fully grasp the important role insurance plays in ensuring their future financial security, as well as make it easy for them to access appropriate insurance products whenever the need arises,”, he explained.
Meanwhile, 17 agents were honoured for their outstanding performance during the 2020 financial year. The categories and recipients of the prestigious awards were: Best Branch Manager, Nii Rommel; and National Best Agent (Auto-house), Eunice Larnyo Nartey.
Overall National Best Agent, Kwame Adu-Asiamah; 1ST Runner-up, Amoako-Mensah Richmond; 2ND Runner-up, Nana Adwoa Essien; 3RD Runner-up: Kofi Aduttwum Nuamah; 4TH Runner-up: Gideon Obeng; 5TH Runner-up, Superkorne Connect; 6TH Runner-up, Fibula Ventures; 7TH Runner-up, Yusif Thakib; and 8TH Runner-up, Timothy Nii Annan Schandorf.
Regional Best Agents included Philipa Osei, Royce Oppong, Kwofie Albert, Daniel Nyarko, Daniel Ewutor and Mohammed Abdulai Gonazo.
Management Staff present included Mr Kwame Asare Boakye (Group Chief Operations Officer) and Mr. Samuel Awote (Financial Controller).
