Kandifo Institute has appointed Nathan Adu Akoamah as the Acting Programme Officer for the institute, effective February 2, 2021. As an Acting Programs Officer, he would work on all initiatives of the institute.
His role would encompass programs and projects such as Leadership Hive, Governance Hive, Economic Hive, Let’s Go Lower, Let her Lead, Abato Asomdwe, Democratic Election Think Tank Center, Ghana Elections Watch, MP/Assembly Shift, and Mentoring and Coaching hub.
Nathan comes into this space as the Acting Programme Officer of Kandifo Institute to manage programmes and projects as well as develop relationships with the citizenry to help the institute achieve its mission to prioritize public advocacy on all issues through a team of committed and value-driven professionals and its vision to create a fact-based, non-partisan think tank within an empowered society.
“The Executive Director of Kandifo Institute in consultation with the Board of Directors has approved your promotional appointment as the Acting Programme Officer of Kandifo Institute effective, February 2, 2021,” a statement from the institute, signed by Palgrave Boakye-Danquah, its Executive Director said.
Nathan is a third year undergraduate reading Political Science and Information Studies at University of Ghana, Legon. He has served as an intern with Kandifo Institute since November 2019 where he worked as a Project Lead, the Head of States Awards Scheme Coordinator and a Research Assistant.
“The board is confident that he has the experience and he is going to play a pivotal role in the growth of the institute. The Board of Directors and team members of Kandifo Institute would like to take this opportunity to express their profound gratitude to Nathan Adu Akoamah for his immense contribution to the company as a Research Assistant,” the statement added.
