Senior Minister Yaw Osafo Maafo has expressed optimism that the recommendations that will be presented at the 2020 edition of the Ghana Economic Forum (GEF)will positively influenced government’s policies.
Speaking at the Day Two of the Forum in Accra which focused on the energy sector, Mr. Osafo Maafo said the forum has been a fertile ground for governments in the past years in making economic policies.
“I will thank the organisers of this forum. For the past nine years this platform has presented some good recommendations to governments. Government therefor places premium on the suggestions and recommendations of this forum,” he said.
He called for the need to make energy reliable, affordable and competitive for the business environment to drive the country’ industrialisation drive .
