Today, Project Management Professionals around the world celebrate the International Project Management (IPM) Day.
The IPM Day is observed each year on the first Thursday in November to commemorate the hard work, dedication, and often unappreciated efforts of the over 17 million project managers who ensure successful delivery of projects and services worldwide.
Now in its 17th year and themed Powering the Project Economy: The role of the Professional Project Manager, the day is being marked with activities all over the world including online conference with over 35,000 expected participants who will come together to learn, share ideas and challenges, as well as promote project management best practices.
The Board of Directors of the Project Management Institute Ghana Chapter commend all project managers, especially those in Ghana for helping organizations achieve strategic goals through the practice of project management.
The Chapter also wishes to express gratitude to all institutions it has collaborated with in the delivery of successful projects.
The Board and entire Executive Body is optimistic about the future of the project management profession and expresses its readiness to assist both private and public institutions in delivering projects on budget and on time, without compromising on quality
