Golden Star Bogoso Prestea Limited (GSBPL) Ladies Club have presented items to Prestea Huni-Valley Municipal Assembly.
The items which includes 40 gallons of liquid soap, 36 gallons of bleach and 20 large bottles of sanitizers are to be distributed to health facilities such as Prestea Government Hospital, Himan Health Center, Bogoso Clinic and Brakwaline Health Center all in the Municipality.
The consumables are to complement the effort government in the fight against Coronavirus (COVID 19) in the municipality.
Makki Rashida Iddrisu, President of the Ladies Club presenting the items explained that “this is to complement what our mother company has already offered but this, is in our own small way.
“As ladies, we are here to project the image of the company and as mothers, we also live in the community and we know how the situation is in some of the health facilities in our catchment area,” she said, adding that the infection rate of COVID 19 is going up all over; these are consumables will reach a lot of people since it is very much needed in this period.
Emmanuel Kofi Tamakloe, Prestea Huni-Valley Municipal Health Director mentioned that these consumables are needed in every health facility in the area. He expressed appreciation to the Ladies Club for the kind gesture and urged other organizations to also support the health facilities in this direction.
